The New Zealand Liberation Museum is proud to be a part of the Le Quesnoy community.
The museum remembers the story of Le Quesnoy’s liberation, but also celebrates the friendships and connections between and two cultures. This is why we are pleased to be support the visit of Taumata Whitireia of Wellington to Le Quesnoy for a one night show on Wednesday 10 July.
The performance will take place at 8:00pm at the Théâtre des 3 Chênes in Le Quesnoy. From 5:00pm to 7:30pm, the museum will welcome visitors for a range of activities including special guided tours of the museum, conversations with the Taumata Whitireia performers, and foodtrucks to provide snacks before the show.
The show, beginning at 8:00 p.m will take you on a journey through traditional songs and dances performed by these talented performers.
If you are in the region, don’t miss this opportunity to discover and celebrate Maori culture in a festive atmosphere.
