It is with sadness that we acknowledge the passing of Alan Livingston (second from the left above), a valued member of the Cambridge community and a passionate advocate for international connection.
Alan played a significant role in strengthening the sister town relationship between Cambridge and Le Quesnoy, making many visits over the years to nurture this special bond, including attending the 90th anniversary of the liberation of Le Quesnoy.
Through his efforts, he helped foster enduring friendship, cultural exchange, and shared remembrance between our communities. His dedication ensured that the historical ties between New Zealand and France remained strong and meaningful for future generations.
He will be remembered for his commitment, warmth, and the lasting legacy he leaves within this important partnership.
