Work in progress in the museum garden

The New Zealand Museum of Liberation – Te Arawhata informs visitors that work is currently underway in the museum garden. This work is being undertaken by the town of Le Quesnoy to develop and enhance the area behind the museum, creating a large public memorial park.

This new landscaped area, planted with trees and vegetation reminiscent of New Zealand, will provide a natural extension to the museum visit.

Open to all, it will offer residents and visitors alike a pleasant place to stroll and discover the unique link between Le Quesnoy and New Zealand in a different way

During the works, parking on Rue Goa is limited.

In addition, access to the museum from the rear is currently closed. Please enter the museum grounds via the main entrance on Rue Achille Carlier.

We thank you for your understanding regarding the inconvenience caused by these developments.  which wille look forward to  ultimately provide a memorial and green space for both Le Quesnoy residents and visitors.
